Years of dedication and study eventually led her to complete a master’s degree and graduate as a Nurse Practitioner—a powerful example of determination and growth.

Alongside his work in technology, Saabir also explored real estate investment, gradually building a modest portfolio of rental properties over the years—another step toward creating long-term stability for the family.

Today, the results of those years of perseverance are reflected in the paths their children have chosen. Their son now serves as a Nurse Practitioner in a rural community, while their daughter is a teacher with the Toronto District School Board and continues to pursue higher education.

In recent years, Saabir has entered a different stage of life. Having stepped away from the pace of full-time work, he now spends more time in nature and community activities. As a volunteer hike leader, he guides others through trails and forests, helping people reconnect with the outdoors and discover the simple joy of walking through nature.

He still takes on software development projects from time to time, but at a rhythm that allows space for reflection, family, and the experiences that once had to wait while a new life was being built.
